This product is very bad. It starts with the instruction manuel which is terribly inefficient, frankly it is horrible. The machine I had before this one was a Royal and though it had its manual errors it was by far a jewel beside yours.
First and foremost, you manual does not have the essentials of use clearly address with examples more than one how to set your header with illustration for your own logo and footer. My footer is still blank because if I follow the manual I get the horried ERROR soft beep you can hardly hear but sufficiently renders all functions useless.
I am a crafter and go to festivals all over Florida. The basic need for a cash register is to: 1. Ease of cost entry by dept. 2. Tax added. 3. One button to avoid tax on the sale. 4. Have change due clearly and easy with no buttons on the dept scale gumming up the transaction. 5. You have a clear daily review total accessable any time during the day. 6. End of day summery tape that shows by dept the sales, tax total, sales total at bottom of tape and will not appear on the next days functions until you go to Z out, getting the second days tape like the first day and then combining the two totals for a prime total. 7. An easy clear all totals from ever appearing again PERIOD. 8. A change tray cover to keep coins in tray for register storing until the next festival event. 9. The unit will not work on 12 volt inverted power. Therefore, I have to run a generator all day just for the cash register.
I would not recommend this product to anyone for in or outdoors sale usage.
When to try and try to insert a footer the machine will go out completely until you mash a button 25 times. How awful, insane.
And that is not all. I just do not have time to really get into it. If the above things could be easily attained I could amend my review.
